Magic mount basics include: attach the ball head to the Magic Mount base, peel off the original protective sheet, firmly press the ball head into place, rub down the base in all directions, and remove air pockets. You can attach the quick release "companion" piece to the ball head, attach TML, and adjust the light via the ball head. To remove the magic mount, peel from a corner and ease off while holding the ball head.
